Kwik Fit is celebrating after being named the best for customer service at the inaugural Northern Ireland Fleet Industry Awards, hosted by Business Eye magazine.
The awards, which followed a discussion forum about the key issues facing the fleet vehicle marketplace in Northern Ireland and a motor show, were attended by 350 people at the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, Bangor.
They were judged by an independent panel drawn from the business and motor trade community in Northern Ireland.
Kwik Fit was commended by the judges for its “comprehensive range of customer care initiatives aimed specifically at the fleet industry”.
As well as having introduced a bespoke pricing strategy in Northern Ireland, the company has rolled out its modernisation initiative to centres at Upper Newtownards Road and Ormeau Road, Belfast.
These centres deliver a customer experience and quality consistent with a volume franchise dealership and form part of the company’s ongoing multi-million refurbishment programme.
Kwik Fit operate from a network of service points in Northern Ireland and offers a mobile tyre fitting service with work carried out at the customer’s location of choice - usually at home or in the workplace car park.
The launch of a major 'LCV Awareness Campaign', following a multi-million investment across its more than 600-strong UK centre, has contributed to Kwik Fit winning more business, including a sole supply deal with Translink, Northern Ireland’s integrated bus and rail public transport company.
