Delegates at the forthcoming FTA Fleet Engineer conference will have the opportunity to hear from Kevin Rooney, Traffic Commissioner for the north-east of England outlining future priorities.

FTA’s highly popular Fleet Engineer conference returns in June with a packed programme aimed at individuals with responsibility for specifying commercial vehicles, ensuring roadworthiness compliance and maintaining vehicles, providing delegates with the very latest information on which to base vehicle specification and maintenance decisions.
 
Rooney will be talking on the importance of maintenance provision and meeting compliance standards for operator licence holders in the face of competing priorities; from the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) for an update on load securing and enforcement; , and from vehicle manufacturers, operators and leading transport industry bodies on technical issues currently affecting fleet engineers, as well as future legislative changes, to ensure vehicle fleets and maintenance procedures operate to their highest potential in a safe, efficient and sustainable way.
