Vehicle Rental software provider Prohire Software Systems is set to launch Prohire Network – an interconnected community of Prohire users, with access to services that proactively manages their risk.
Paul Newman, managing director of Prohire Software Systems, said: “With over 530 rental locations across the UK using Prohire, managing well in excess of 40,000 vehicles, we saw a fantastic opportunity to build an interconnected network offering our customers and partners greater capability to co-operate and work closer together.
“We are committed to finding new and innovative solutions to the common problems our customers face.
“The Prohire Network has been years in the making and we can’t wait for our customers to start benefiting from its new services.
“Later this summer we’ll also release our first mobile application, and a brand new version of ProWeb – our web booking module.”
Available to all Prohire Network members, the services include:
Prohire Risk, which checks for problem hirers against a national database and alerts nearby rental companies if the system suspects cash for crash activity in their area.
Prohire Inter-Rent, which searches and locates specific vehicles in real-time availability.
Prohire Notice, which is a noticeboard that displays relevant posts based on your location.
MyVehicleHire.com, which is a retail broker website, with no commission, allowing the public to search for specific vehicles in a given location or search for vehicles based on need.
The company is also developing a mobile app for smartphones and tablets for their customers to process vehicle inspections, recording damage, and managing delivery /collections. The application will wirelessly sync with the Prohire software system over WiFi/3G/4G
The Prohire software system is used by daily rental, long-term and contract-hire companies to manage their fleet from checking in/out vehicles to advanced management reports and online bookings.
