Vauxhall’s latest Insignia is driving strong growth for the brand.
The car, which made its world debut at last year’s Company Car in Action, and offers CO2 emissions from 98g/km has been popular with fleets.
Paul Adler said: “We have had a particularly successful insignia launch and it’s low CO2 emissions and low fuel consumption are enabling fleets to deliver cost savings. Our Insignia sales are up 60% for the first quarter of 2014 compared with the first quarter of 2013.
“Our new 1.6 CDTi diesel engine, which has been in the Zafira for a little while and was recently added to the Meriva and Astra ranges is also proving popular, and will continue to do so as it is introduced in other Vauxhall models in future.”
