Hitachi Capital Commercial Vehicle Solutions is launching its Trade Ready van range, which includes a van, racking, and power tool package.
Aimed directly at the professional trades industries, it consists of a van, racking and a bespoke Hitachi Power Tools kit in one package with fixed monthly payments.
Consisting of funding, maintenance and repairs, the solution also offers professional trades businesses cost control of monthly outgoings and has been tailored to meet the specific needs of individual trades, such as carpenters, plumbers, electricians and general builders.
The solution offers a bespoke tailor made service for each customer, allowing them to upscale as their business expands, as well as peace of mind through nationwide maintenance and repairs carried out by the Hitachi service network with overnight delivery of replacement tools, all covered by a three year tool warranty (when you register your tools online within 4 weeks of receipt).
Saving time and hassle for the customer, the partnership between the two Hitachi brands will manage the entire order process through to the delivery of the outfitted van, as well as manage all maintenance and repairs ensuring the minimum downtime for both van and tools.
As well as making professional life easier for customers, the solution is financially sound, allowing customers to spread the cost of obtaining and operating the vehicle, racking and tools in a single fixed monthly payment with no initial cash outlay. Moreover, as the cost is spread on a monthly basis, it means the vehicle and tools are off balance sheet, positively impacting on overall profit.
Jon Lawes, divisional managing director at Hitachi Capital Commercial Vehicle Solutions, said: “We believe this offering of a van, racking and bespoke package of power tools all tied up in a simple monthly payment is a first to market. With both commercial vehicles and power tools within the same global company, we are in a unique position in the industry and the obvious synergies between power tools and commercial vehicles make this new, no-risk service offering for customers a powerful proposition.”
Simon Miller, brand manager at Hitachi Power Tools, added: “We are delighted to be working with our industry leading sister company on this innovative project and look forward to supplying tradesmen across the UK with a high quality package including our market leading range of 5.0Ah Li-Ion cordless tools. I believe the advantage of a full service backup at the end of a phone line will make this an unbeatable offer for trade professionals.”
