Epyx has enhanced its 1link Vehicle Network car and van procurement platform with a range of new innovations.
Originally brought to market in 2001, it is used by many major fleets with high volume vehicle procurement teams to manage and control price negotiation, ordering, invoicing and fulfilment.
New features added to the enhanced version include the introduction of a dashboard-based task management section that delivers a massive reduction in administration; the ability to integrate manufacturer bonus schemes and other methods of support; and a new look and feel designed to deliver information in an intuitive way.
The system also allows monitoring of manufacturer and dealer supplier performance alongside a range of standard reports and integrates with Epyx’s 1link Disposal Network e-commerce platform.
David Goodyear (pictured), head of business development for procurement platforms at Epyx, said: "1link Vehicle Network was one of the very first e-commerce solutions available to the UK fleet market and has been developed through several versions over the years to enhance its effectiveness in meeting changing fleet needs.
"However, the new version represents the most fundamental rethink of the platform to date, providing a complete work management solution for volume fleet procurement teams.
"We have shown the revised version to some of our larger fleet customers and its reception has been very enthusiastic. It is our belief that we could deliver several new deals quite quickly."
The new version of 1link Vehicle Network will become available shortly with the system automatically updated for existing users.
