David Flesher has been appointed head of digital marketing for Manheim, where he will look to expand the automotive retail and remarketing business’s digital capability.
He has a wealth of digital experience gained from more than 15 years in marketing and digital roles across the retail, financial services and automotive industries.
Prior to joining Manheim, Flesher worked at Aviva for eight years, with roles covering digital sales channel optimisation, digital strategy, brand and digital proposition development.
He said: "Digital is changing everything we do and our industry is increasingly being defined by the accelerated pace of technological change.
"Customers are constantly developing the way they access our services so it's important that we, as a customer-led business, evolve to match this.
"Our challenge for the future is simple. We want to provide our customers with a greater amount of choice, allowing us to utilise our channels in the way our customers want to use them.
“We also recognise the importance of making the best use of our data to ensure the consumer experience is seamless, relevant and personalised.
Above all else, we want to make digital the enabler that brings physical and online worlds together. I'm looking forward to meeting these goals as we enter a new year."
