Company Car in Action (CCIA), the UK’s premier driving event, is to be bigger and better then ever in 2015.
The event will take place on June 16 and 17 at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, with extended opening hours.
Other key improvements planned for 2015, include:
- Launching ‘CCIA Connection Hub’, offering facilities for pre-arranged business meetings with fleet decision-makers
- Having an enhanced Concierge Club, which launched last year and was very successful in attracting the large fleet decision-makers
- Launching a technology zone to showcase the latest technological developments from manufacturers and suppliers
- Hosting special programmes aimed at public sector decision-makers and work with trade association ACFO to create more non-driving activities to encourage strong debates on relevant hot topics.
Organised by Fleet News, CCIA offers vehicle manufacturers and fleet industry suppliers a unique opportunity to reach key fleet decision-makers.
Now in its 25th year, CCIA will look to top last year’s event, which saw 24 manufacturer brands attend and almost 1,000 fleet decision-makers (up 6.3% on 2013) taking part in the arrive and drive event.
The free-to-attend event provides the perfect opportunity for fleet decision-makers and leasing personnel to test the latest company cars.
Manufacturers will showcase more than 300 vehicles, incorporating the latest fuels and technologies.
With 50 miles of test track, across four unique routes, offering city, off-road, alpine and high speed driving, visitors will be able to give the vehicles a thorough testing.
And, when not enjoying the driving, attendees will be able to explore the additional services being featured in the CCIA exhibition hall as well as take part in debates and discussions.
Chris Lester, Fleet News events director, said: “As the UK’s premier driving event it’s hard to top, but we are looking to build on last year’s Company Car in Action.
"We’ve a few innovations for 2015, which will ensure the event remains vital and relevant to our partners and fleet decision-makers.
“The first day has been extended to give visitors more time to speak with manufacturers and suppliers; to test drive and evaluate more vehicles and network as well as discuss the latest industry issues.”
