Lex Autolease has signed a new agreement with Allstar to expand the range of data and services available.
The two companies have worked in partnership for a number of years as part of an agreement that enables Lex Autolease to provide Allstar fuel cards to all of its leasing customers.
This new deal means that Lex customers can take advantage of the Allstar Premier Programme (Discount Diesel) and Supermarket Card, as well as enhancing the existing service provision, in particular the supply of fuel transactional data that supports Lex Autolease’s interactive (LAi) system.
The LAi system includes Dashboard Reporting which encompasses management information recommendations on their fuel spend and offers information on fuel buying trends, fuel usage data and advice on effective fuel management.
Andy Hartley, commercial director of Lex Autolease said: “Our fleet and fuel portal converts data into consultative Management Information (MI) and recommendations. This level of information is typically only provided to very large Corporate customers but we are now committed to providing all customers with access to the most thoroughly researched information on the market.
“We’re delighted to work in partnership with Allstar to streamline processes for our shared customers, making fuel a fundamental part of our overall service provision. Our partnership with Allstar has grown and developed over the years and it’s one that has been incredibly successful in ensuring that fuel considerations continue to be a key part of any fleet management strategy.
“The combination of Allstar’s expertise in its market and its unrivalled network and systems allied to Lex Autolease’s e-Commerce platforms allows our joint customers to enjoy a full turnkey package that will improve the operational running of businesses small, medium or large.
Peter Bridgen, managing director of FleetCor UKI added: “The re-launch of our partnership with Lex Autolease demonstrates how highly we value the service they provide to our mutual customers and reinforces how essential fuel management is for all businesses.
“Lex Autolease already provides an excellent suite of services to its clients, but we believe this latest addition will further enhance its offering and greatly improve the fleet efficiency of all of its customers.”

Sounds like a logical tie-up on the face of it. But will Allstar card users still face a punitive £2/fuel-drawing fee - which prompted this business to change to a more cost competitive provider!
