Pete Marsden has been appointed as managing director at National Windscreens.
Marsden joined the company in 2010 as commercial director and has since spearheaded a series of successful strategies for the windscreen repair and replacement provider.
"Over the past four years we have strengthened our brand and implemented a business strategy which has resulted in a number of high profile contracts with fleet operators, insurers and insurance brokers who recognise the value we place on customer service,” Marsden said.
With rival Autoglass deciding to close branches, he also underlined National Windscreens commitment to retaining its fitting centre network.
He said: “We operate 108 fitting centres across the UK, holding in excess of £3million of glass stocks and supported by 800 mobile technicians. This service coverage means a UK motorist is on average never more than 11 miles or 20 minutes away from a National Windscreens technician - a key factor in achieving market leading time to serve statistics and a customer satisfaction (NPS) score of 88.1.”
National Windscreens will be exhibiting at a number of industry events throughout 2015 to further raise brand profile and awareness of its service capabilities.

Keep your branches as they will be more useful when Autoglass can't do jobs in the poor weather as Canopus cant be used in windy conditions
