Visitors to this year’s Company Car in Action (CCIA) event at Millbrook Proving Ground will get more time for test drives and non-driving activities as opening hours are being extended to 7pm on the first day (June 16).

Test drives will now take place until 6.30pm on the first day of the two-day event with nearly 300 models to test drive from 25 manufacturer brands.

This will give visitors the chance to attend the educational non-driving activities during the day, as well as having more time for invaluable networking.

Extended opening is just one of a number of new initiatives to mark the arrive-and-drive event’s 25th anniversary.

Also new for this year are one-to-one meetings with manufacturers, allowing fleet managers to test drive a vehicle and then spend time with a representative of that company where they can glean more in-depth information in a quieter, calmer environment.

A comparison price desk has also been introduced. It is a handy way for visitors to compare similar vehicles with a personalised itinerary created for them according to their own specific requirements.

The new elements to the event are based on feedback from both visitors and exhibitors.
