Seven major manufacturers have confirmed their attendance at this year’s Company Car in Action show.
BMW, Ford, Harris Maxus, Kia, Mini, MG and Polestar, are the first car and van makers to sign up for the UK’s premier fleet driving event, which takes place at Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire on June 12 and 13.
The event offers visitors the greatest opportunity for fleet decision-makers to find out which models will best suit their fleet choice lists over the coming years, with the emphasis on full electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid. Registration for the event is now open.
More than 200 vehicles can be comprehensively put through their paces on four courses offering different terrains: Alpine hill, high speed bowl, last mile delivery circuit and off-road route.
Neil Wilson, fleet director, Ford of Britain, said: “Electrification remains a key consideration for all our customers, and we are delighted to once again be exhibiting to the UK fleet industry at this year’s Company Car in Action.
“As well as the award-winning E-Transit and All-Electric Mustang Mach-E, this year we’ll be including a static showcase of the much-anticipated one-tonne E-Transit Custom, a fully electric version of the UK’s best-selling van and current holder of the International Van of the Year award”.
Matt Hawkins, head of sales for electric vehicle brand Polestar, said: “CCIA is a key event in Polestar UK’s event calendar as we have great relationships with fleets across the UK. The ability to meet with so many influential fleets in one place, while also demonstrating our product is as efficient as it is enjoyable!
“We look forward to seeing our partners there and are extremely excited for the 2024 show”.
The company will have both its new Polestar 3 performance electric SUV and Polestar 2 electric fastback to the show. It will be the first time that Polestar 3 will be available to be driven in the UK.
MG Motor UK will be showcasing its newest model, the recently launched MG3 Hybrid. It will also have its MG4 EV, the ZS EV and the HS plug-in hybrid available. And, as a teaser, the manufacturer says there “could well be a surprise new model on display”.
Geraint Isaac, head of fleet sales, MG Motor UK, added: “The whole MG fleet team will be in attendance to ensure all your questions are answered with regard to our fleet offering, so please come along and visit our stand.”
John Hargreaves, head of fleet and remarketing at Kia UK said: “We extend a warm invitation to all CCIA attendees to visit our stand and explore Kia's latest innovations, along with our unwavering commitment to sustainable mobility. Our dedicated expert business team will be readily available to address any inquiries and illustrate how we can help move your business forward.”
Kia is bringing its all-electric seven-seater EV9, EV6, Niro EV, Sportage and Sorento.
Away from the steering pad, CCIA also offers fleets the chance to network with major brands’ fleet teams as well as hear from expert speakers who will present on key topics in our daily seminar sessions.
