After almost two decades with the Renault Group, Alice Altemaire has announced she has left her role as chief executive officer at Mobilize Financial Services.

Announcing her departure on Linked In, Altemaire said: “The time has come for me to take a new road.

“These years have been nothing short of transformative - a journey filled with learning, growth, and unforgettable moments. I’ve had the privilege of working with inspiring leaders, talented colleagues, and friends who made every step of the way memorable.

“From navigating financial crises to launching new initiatives, I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together.”

The funding division of Renault Group, Mobilize Financial Services acquired 36.6% of Select Car Leasing and launched a new vehicle leasing brand – Select Lease by Mobilize – in the UK fleet market, last year.

It supplanted the Mobilize Financial Services brand in last year’s FN50, while still maintaining each stakeholder’s individual presences in their traditional markets.

In this year’s FN50, Select Lease by Mobilize reported year-on-year growth in its car and van risk fleet of more than 20%, from 32,001 to 38,458 funded vehicles, making it the 13th largest vehicle leasing company in the UK.

Speaking to Fleet News in May, she said her ambition for the brand was to become a top five FN50 company.

Altemaire says she will taking the next month out to enjoy some “valuable time with family” before embarking on an “exciting new chapter”.

She added: “To everyone I’ve worked with over the years: thank you for your support, collaboration, and inspiration. The lessons I’ve learned and the relationships I’ve built will stay with me as I move forward.

“Looking forward to my new beginnings and the road ahead. Supporting growth and sustainability roadmap for communities will remain on top of the agenda.”
