Altrad has ordered 150 light commercial vehicles (LCVs) from Ford, with the first replacement vans joining its fleet.
The fleet deal, organised through its leasing partner ALD Automotive LeasePlan, which will become Ayvens in the UK next year, and supplying dealer TrustFord, includes a range of Ford Transit models.
Altrad has ordered 50 Transit Connect 240 L1 DCIV 1.5TDCi Leaders; 50 Transit Connect 220 L1 1.5TDCi 100 Leaders; 30 Transit Dropside 350 L4 C/C Pr/Dp 2.0TDCi 130 FWD vehicles; and 20 x Transit Dropside 350 L4 C/Db Pr/Dp 2.0TDCi 130 RD LCVs.
Altrad took delivery of the first 75 Transit Connects in September 2023, with the remaining vehicle being delivered over the coming weeks.
