Audi has revealed the Q6 e-tron Sportback, which joins the existing SUV with a longer range.

Sales of the new Sportback variants will commence in November, with the first cars due to arrive in the UK in April 2025.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback is priced from £62,475. It's available in four powertrain configurations, with a range of up to 402 miles.

Entry-level models use a 75.8kWh battery and have a single 252PS motor, giving a maximum range of 334 miles.

The Performance model has a larger 94.9kWh battery and a more powerful 306PS motor. This model offers the longest range, at 402 miles.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback Quatto has two electric motors, giving all-wheel-drive. It has 388PS and manages 388 miles of range.

At the top of the range, the SQ6 e-tron provides 490PS and has a 367-mile range.

The larger battery can add a range of up to 164 miles in 10 minutes, at a maximum charging power of 260kW, under ideal conditions. It takes 22 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%. The smaller battery has a maximum charging speed of 225kW.

The Q6 e-tron Sportback mirrors the existing Q6 e-tron SUV except for its coupe-like roofline and sloping rear tailgate, both of which help to improve aerodynamics and therefore efficiency.

The boot capacity is 511 litres.
