Autorola UK has announced a new strategic partnership with DMN Group which will see it expand its service offering to fleet, OEM and finance companies and dealer vendors and buyers.
It will offer its customers a vehicle storage solution through DMN Group’s six sites in Livingston, Warrington, Hixon, Tividale, Leighton Buzzard and Upminster.
This will also extend to vehicle imaging, preparation and refurbishment in addition to the logistics service it already offers in partnership with DMN Group.
Autorola already offers a storage and fleet service proposition to multiple vendors in other European countries, so saw this as a natural next step for the UK business.
In turn, DMN Group will be able to support Autorola’s on-site auction services by utilising Autorola’s online remarketing platform.
This will include holding timed auctions as well as customers being able to upload and sell overage stock via Autorola’s Autofind wholesale used car stock platform.
DMN Group will also have access to the Indicata used car insights platform to support its customers in the stock valuation of assets on site both at a wholesale and retail level to give market intelligence in support of their remarketing activities.
Neil Frost, Autorola UK’s country manager, said: “We have had a strong working relationship with DMN Group for many years as they have been delivering used vehicles for customers who have purchased vehicles from our online auctions.
“We have been watching their expansion into offering broader fleet services for a while now and we are very excited at our new partnership.
“It will enable us to further maximise remarketing returns for our vendors.”
Nick Chadaway (pictured), DMN Group MD, added: “We are excited at what we can achieve when we both work together and look forward to a long working partnership.
“We are looking forward to working with Autorola and its customers as well as being able to offer our customers Autorola’s range of online auction and used car pricing intelligence services.”
Both companies have ambitious plans for growth which further aligns the two companies to deliver joint tender responses as they integrate all or part of their services for potential OEM, dealer, fleet and leasing customers.
“Both companies have many years of experience in their specific industry sectors, and we are excited at the opportunities that lie ahead as we join forces,” added Frost.
