Ayvens has officially launched in the UK following the acquisition of LeasePlan by ALD Automotive.

The two companies will be integrated under the new global name.

By combining the experience and expertise of both legacy businesses, Ayvens says it will seek to provide UK corporates, SMEs and private individuals with more sustainable mobility solutions. This includes an end-to-end leasing service for cars and commercial vehicles, a suite of fleet management solutions, and a UK-wide salary sacrifice car scheme.

Ayvens is now the trading name of LeasePlan UK, with ALD Automotive UK following suit in due course.

To mark the re-brand, Ayvens is sponsoring the Fleet News Sustainable Mobility Week. Taking place on November 11-15 across the Fleet News estate (website, social media and webinar), it will highlight and help prepare fleet/mobility managers and industry stakeholders for the future, with a focus on sustainable mobility and decarbonisation.

Ayvens will also have a significant presence at next week's Fleet & Mobility Live show at the NEC where the new branding will be seen in public for the first time.

Tim Laver, managing director of Ayvens in the UK, said: “UK businesses are facing an increasingly complex and highly regulated transport landscape right now, which requires them to re-examine their fleet strategies in order to cut costs and carbon emissions.

“Our scale, sector expertise and insights from our team can not only help our customers to navigate these challenges, but turn them into opportunities for a greener, smarter and more cost-effective operating model.

“The launch of our new brand Ayvens in the UK marks an exciting chapter in our Group’s journey and for fleets across the UK.  As a leading player in the mobility sector, we will leverage our position to shape the future of mobility and unlock new possibilities for our customers.”

ALD completed its £4.1 billion (€4.8bn) acquisition of LeasePlan by a consortium led by TDR Capital in May.

It brought together two of the UK’s biggest leasing companies to take top slot in last year’s FN50 with a risk fleet of 313,149 cars and vans.

The rebranding of the new joint business to Ayvens follows the launch of its three-year strategic development plan in September.
