The road safety charity Brake has revealed the shortlist for the UK Fleet Champions Awards 2024.

It shows that 43 organisations and individuals are up for 12 categories, which Brake says celebrates the hard work and determination of everyone who is striving to prevent crashes and reduce pollution across the fleet industry.

The shortlisted entries are now being assessed by a panel of external judges.

Ross Moorlock, CEO of Brake, said: “We’re excited to deliver another fantastic UK Fleet Champions Awards this year, celebrating safety in this sector and honouring those working hard to reduce road death, injury and pollution.

“A huge thank you to everyone who submitted an entry and congratulations to all those who made the shortlist.”

He added: “Lightfoot have been great supporters of our charity and of these awards, as well as champions for road safety in this sector.

“We look forward to working together with them and our partner Driving for Better Business on this prestigious event and we hope to see many from the industry there on the night.”

“These awards are crucial as they recognise and celebrate the individuals and organisations making impactful strides in reducing road crashes and enhancing safety standards.

“Supporting these awards allows us to actively contribute to this vital cause, reinforcing our commitment to creating safer roads for everyone.”

This year, Brake has partnered with Driving for Better Business from National Highways to deliver the awards.

All entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts and the winners will be announced at a ceremony at New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, on Thursday, October 3.
