BYD has unveiled the Sealion 7 as the next model to join its UK line-up.
The mid-size electric SUV will compete with the Tesla Model Y and VW ID4, when it arrives at the end of the year.
UK specs are yet to be released but in China, where the model has been on sale since 2023, the Sealion 7 is available with either a 71.8kWh or an 80.6kWh battery.
It has a range of up to 379 miles and single or dual motor powertrain options. The most powerful version has 530PS.
As a member of the 'Ocean Series', the BYD Sealion 7 has similar styling to the current Dolphin and Seal models.
On the inside there's a large rotating touchscreen.
Prices are expected to start at £45,000 - £50,000.
