Esso has announced a partnership with Nectar, meaning customers filling up at participating Esso stations can earn Nectar points on fuel and shop purchases, from June 1.
Customers can now take full advantage of the Nectar scheme, and will be rewarded one point per litre of fuel and two points per pound spent in the shop at participating Esso-branded service stations.
Esso’s global loyalty programmes manager David Chilton said: “We’re excited to launch Esso Nectar and increase the ways in which we can reward Esso customers. We believe Nectar’s ease of use, flexibility of points collection and redemption makes it an excellent option for Esso customers.
"By rewarding every fill, our customers will earn points by simply doing what they do every day; it’s our way of saying thank you.”
Tesco Clubcard users will be able to collect Clubcard points at Esso sites with a Tesco Express shop as normal. Customers will not be able to collect Nectar points from these sites
Nectar’s managing director James Moir said: “We’re always looking for new ways to reward our customers and are thrilled to be offering them the chance to turn their fuel into money off their weekly shop, as well as hundreds of other personalised rewards.”

Clear as mud. When is an Esso not a Esso, when its a Tesco - Esso ! Tesco Clubcard users only collect a reduced amount of clubcard points when its an Esso. Esso - Tesco sites will not take Nectar, They actual tell You that is Sainsburys only !!! They know nothing about Esso's Nectar.
