Mazda has updated its Mazda2 Hybrid with a range of exterior and interior changes.
The revised model, which will arrive in the UK in March, features a new front bumper and grille design, as well as a unique rear tailgate garnish.
The supermini, which orginally launched in 2022, is part of the collaboration between Mazda Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation, and the changes mean the Toyota Motor Europe OEM supplied model will now feature a more Mazda differentiated exterior design.
Jeremy Thomson, managing director of Mazda UK, said: “The Mazda2 Hybrid has proved to be a popular addition to our line-up in the UK, so it’s great that we now have a car with a greater element of Mazda exterior design personality.”
The drivetrain remains the same and means Mazda2 Hybrid has a combined power output of 116PS and a CVT automatic transmission, CO2 emissions of 87-98g/km and a WLTP fuel economy of 67.3mpg-74.3mpg (dependent on specification of 15-inch or 16-inch wheels).
The 2024 Mazda Hybrid also features connectivity and entertainment upgrades across the range, include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a new central touchscreen display.
It will be available in four grades: Centre-Line, Exclusive Line, Homura and Homura Plus – priced from £24,130 to £29,230.
Exclusive-Line models and above feature new equipment that includes auto-folding mirrors, blind-spot Monitoring, plus front and rear parking sensors, while at the top of the range the Homura and Homura Plus grades feature a new digital instrument binnacle and black roof lining.
Exclusive to Homura Plus grade, the 2024 Mazda2 Hybrid also features integrated navigation and a panoramic glass roof.
The 2024 Mazda2 Hybrid will continue to be sold alongside the Mazda2 supermini.
