Fleet Management Live has announced a raft of key partnerships which reinforce its importance to non-traditional fleet decision makers including HR and finance professionals.
The event, which takes place from October 6 - 7 at the NEC, Birmingham, is organised by the leading fleet publication Fleet News and has also gained support from leading HR, finance and management magazines.
“Many organisations recognise the role of the fleet or transport manager as business- critical, especially with the need to meet stringent environment, health and safety and employee welfare regulations,” said Chris Lester, show director.
HR Grapevine, the leading source of HR news in the UK, was enthusiastic about what the event would mean to its readers.
Calum Di Lieto, editor at HR Grapevine, said: “Fleet management is becoming ever more complex as technology evolves and legislation changes. I am very excited to be a part of Fleet Management Live and keen to find out more about the future direction of company cars and the emerging vehicle technology, with a look at how it will affect functions such as HR.”
For the SME sector, TalkBusiness magazine has also recognised how important fleet is to its readers and is backing the event in its mission to support entrepreneurs and SMEs on the road to success.
Media supporter Director of Finance magazine has dedicated Fleet Management coverage to inform chief finance officers about how to effectively manage this high cost area of business.
“Director of Finance is extremely pleased to be working with Fleet Management Live in 2015. We believe that it is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with our readers in a vital aspect of their ever expanding role and hope to offer great support to the event this year. We look forward to being part of this great success,” commented marketing executive Sam Bradford-Smith.
Lester added: “Our partnerships reinforce the increased interest in fleet from HR, finance and procurement professionals. We are delighted to be working with well-respected media for these sectors and look forward to working with them to create a must-attend event for anyone involved with fleet.”
The event is also backed by ACFO - the UK’s premier representative organisation for fleet decision-makers in charge of cars and light commercial vehicles.
Organised by Fleet News, the event is supported by Fleet Leasing, providing insights for leasing company senior personnel, and Driving Business magazine which helps owners, managing directors and finance directors of SME organisations manage their cars and vans effectively.
Brands at the event include Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota, Lexus, Volvo and Halfords Autocentre.
