National Windscreens has appointed Nicky Coetsee to its South West board of directors.
George Douglas, a founder of National Windscreens, said: “Bringing a diverse range of viewpoints together is the best way to ensure all aspects of the business move in the right direction. Nicky has proved that she has a vital contribution to make to our business and we’re all very excited that she will be adding her extensive knowledge to the Board.”
Coetsee joined National Windscreens thirteen years ago following a move to the UK from South Africa. She has had various roles since joining the company, building a thorough understanding of both the company and the industry. Her last role as general manager saw her playing an integral role in the introduction of a number of systems and processes designed to maximise efficiency in the service National Windscreens offers.
Coetsee said: “I am honoured to have been appointed as a Regional Director. These are interesting times in the Automotive Glazing market with divergent approaches being taken by the different industry players. I firmly believe in the direction we are moving; we don’t pay lip service to the concept of customer service, we actually deliver it. I look forward to being able to ensure the company continues to improve its market share.”
The volume of windscreen repair and replacement jobs carried out in April increased by 9% in the South West alone in comparison with the same month last year.
Douglas continued: “We have worked extremely hard to ensure National Windscreens is viewed as a leader in this sector. Our success has resulted in a significant increase in the size of our company and the Board is committed to making sure that we take whatever steps are necessary to meet the growing demand for our nationally recognised service.
“These are exciting times for National Windscreens and Nicky’s appointment will only serve to strengthen our position as a market leader.”
