FleetEurope has supplied 22 branded Mini Coopers to its customer Vitality, for the launch of its new Vitality Nurse service.
The service enables VitalityLife’s new team of 22 field-based nurses to visit customers at a convenient time and place to carry out medical screenings and improve the insurance application process.
The Mini Cooper 1.5 hatch with Tech pack was chosen due to safety features and efficiencies.
Each MINI was branded with the Vitality logo and supplied on a 36-month, 45,000-mile contract hire agreement, with the flexibility of a pooled mileage arrangement. The vehicle contracts are reviewed on a regular basis by FleetEurope’s operations team to keep any additional mileage costs to a minimum.
Personalised number plates were sourced for each vehicle and tracking systems installed to help reduce costs, increase vehicle security and achieve duty of care compliance by managing driver risk.
FleetEurope is also providing fleet management services, tailored to Vitality’s requirements. These include, fixed cost maintenance, fuel card management, breakdown assistance and comprehensive accident management support.
The fleet of Mini Coopers were successfully sourced by FleetEurope and provided to Vitality within an eight-week timeframe. Three of the Minis were used at roadshows across the country for the launch of the new Vitality Nurse service. The remaining 19 vehicles were delivered to each of the nurses by Vines of Gatwick MINI dealership.
Vitality is a health and life insurer that enables people to understand more about their personal health, rewards them for healthy living and protects them when things go wrong.
Chris Wilson (pictured left), senior sourcing and supplier manager at Vitality, said: “We needed to mobilise our team of nurses quickly with a fleet of vehicles that were safe, reliable, cost-effective to maintain and an ideal fit with Vitality’s brand image.
“We approached several market-leading fleet companies for the supply and management of the new fleet. We chose FleetEurope because of their competitive pricing model and the detailed recommendations and expertise offered by their fleet consultant throughout the tendering process.”
