Autoglass has opened a new calibration centre for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in a new commercial development in Coventry.
The centre will have 10 on-site specialist technicians and will be the latest addition to a national network of 29 static calibration sites.
Since launching the first UK centre in 2015, Autoglass has trained more than 125 specialist technicians. It completed more than 17,000 calibrations.
The Coventry expansion is another step towards the companies goal to have 45 calibration centres operational over the next year.
Autoglass’s regional operations manager Mark Andrews said: “We are really excited about the new addition to the Autoglass ADAS calibration network.
"The new centre is in a great location, convenient for customers wanting to do a spot of shopping while they wait for the work on their car to be finished.
"We’re working towards the goal that if a static calibration is needed to be done in workshop conditions rather than a dynamic calibration from one of our highly-trained technicians, our customers will not have to drive longer than 15 minutes to get to an appointment.”
