An e-auction of 200 Citroën vehicles held by BCA in August sold every vehicle on offer and set a new benchmark against guide values.
The sale, at Roe Park Resort in Northern Ireland, averaged 109% CAP Clean, the best single sale performance on record for the manufacturer.
It was streamed using the BCA Live Online platform, which enabled buyers to bid from across the UK.
Buyers also participated at the event where BCA used a mobile rostrum with full onsite IT support.
Paul Drake, UK vehicle remarketing manager at Citroën UK, said: “The sale attracted incredible interest, and it’s a testament to BCA’s team that technology and logistics worked seamlessly.
"We expected a good result but thanks to great support from our dealer network this was simply exceptional.”
BCA has seen strong growth for its Live Online platform and recently reported it regularly has more than 1,000 active bidders participating.
During the busiest sales periods, there can be more than 12,000 bids placed through the system every hour.
The growth of digital sales is supported by an ongoing expansion and investment in the infrastructure of BCA’s physical auction network.
