Birmingham is the local authority area with the highest number of ultra-low emission vehicle registrations, research by Click4reg.co.uk has found.

The company analysed data released by the Department for Transport in Vehicle Licencing Statistics: Annual 2017, and found the metropolis to have 12,247 ULEVs at the end of the year.

Peterborough was second with 8,910 registrations, followed by Slough (4,460), Milton Keynes (4,409) and Leeds (3,557).
