Fleet service provider i247 Group has continued its expansion with the creation of new company structures, roles and responsibilities.

Founder and MD John Mason has moved into the new role of chairman, with the group now led by newly-appointed joint managing directors Martin Phillips and Sam Mason.

Phillips, who was head of fleet operations at Volkswagen Financial Services before joining i247 Group earlier this year, said: “This is an exciting time to be joining the business.

“I’ve been a customer in one guise or another for the past 15 years and very much an advocate of the i247 approach of getting things done, I’m looking forward to helping drive innovation, growth and fantastic levels of service for our customers.”

Mason has worked for i247 Group for nine years, most recently as operations director.

The i247 Group specialises in providing contact managed services and technology solutions to the automotive industry.

It offers outsourced, white-labelled, fully managed solutions to the leasing and fleet marketplace.
