Brake is running a free webinar to provide advice for fleet and road safety professionals on how to respond to serious road crashes in an effective, timely and compassionate manner.
The webinar will be delivered by Global Fleet Champions, Brake’s new not-for-profit campaign to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by vehicles used for work purposes.
Global Fleet Champions is free and shares training, tools, and guidance on global fleet safety best practice with its members, as well as networking and development opportunities.
The road safety charity’s upcoming webinar, Crisis management: Post-crash action and care, sponsored by Mix Telematics will cover the complications that can arise following a road crash; how fleet managers should approach crisis management; and what an effective crisis management strategy should include.
The webinar takes place on Tuesday, February 26. Attendance is free, and you can register by booking here.
Sarah Plumb, senior fleet officer at Brake, said: “As a charity which provides the UK’s only free accredited helpline for road crash victims and their families, we see the devastation which road crashes can have on individuals, families and their communities on a daily basis.
“Good crisis management after a crash can help reduce the trauma experienced by employees and victims. I encourage all those with responsibility of at-work drivers anywhere in the world to join us at this valuable webinar.”
Marc Trollet, managing director at Mix Telematics Europe, added: “This webinar is the ideal platform to learn more about how event reporting can potentially save your drivers and your business.”
