Select Car Leasing celebrates ‘successful’ 12 months of new partnership
Following the announcement of new partnerships with leasing brokerages throughout the UK, Select Car Leasing said it is celebrating the successes of the first 12 months of its partnership with Cameron Clarke Leasing.
Select said within the last year it achieved 1,000 orders, beating its previous best as Cameron Clark of 750, and is predicting the figures will double by 2022.
Principal at Select Car Leasing Preston office and a Cameron Clarke director, Steven Clarke said: “The figures speak for themselves as to how successful the first year has been and we are now predicting a further 100% growth during 2021.”
New leasing broker focused on switching to EVs launches
zeVie, a new vehicle leasing broker focused on helping drivers switch to electric vehicles (EVs) has launched after developing its dedicated platform.
The company said it aims to be the end-to-end trusted resource for EV users, bundling all aspects of EV ownership – from EV driver’s energy supply, network charging deals and EV insurance packages all on one platform.
zeVie is led by an experienced management team headed by entrepreneur Vincent Heilbron. Rob Whalley and Will Barlow bring many years of experience in the leasing industry and digital world, said zeVie.
Synergy retains Platinum Trusted Service Award for second consecutive year
Synergy Car Leasing has Synergy Car Leasing has been awarded the Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award 2021, for the second year running.
Synergy said it has achieved 8,700 independent reviews via Feefo for its customer experience and products.

VRA announces new ‘Getting back to business’ webinar
New issues arising as the used vehicle sector emerges from the coronavirus pandemic is the theme of the fifth in the Vehicle Remarketing Association's (VRA) 'New Normal' briefing series of webinars.
Speakers at the ‘Getting back to business’ webinar includes, Steve Young, managing director at ICDP, and Chris Hine and Robert Marchant, both partners at the accountancy firm Crowe UK LLP.
Young will look at trends such as the impact of the growth of personal leasing, greater scale and professionalism in used car operations, and the move from franchise to agency models for motor manufacturers.
Hine and Marchant will present on the VAT and commercial disputes issues associated with early termination and breaches of contracts.
Philip Nothard, chair at the VRA, said: “This webinar is designed to help our members gain an understanding of some of the most immediate, providing them with the information they need to take account of these developments in their future business plans.”
