The Herd Group has announced changes to its board, with Nigel Schroder moving to the role of executive chairman.

He will be supported on the executive board by Jason Rogerson and Anthony Moss, who will take up the roles of executive directors. 

The executive board will provide governance and strategic direction to the operational board with the aim of ensuring the company’s culture and brand is maintained and promoted.

Herd became an employee-owned business in December 2022, and aims to promote into key roles from within its current team.

The operational board is to be headed up by Gemma Dickson (pictured below), group managing director, Anthony McKeague, group finance director, Mike Cooke, group fleet director and Danielle Davison, group commercial director.

Schroder said: “Over the last three years we have created a young and dynamic operational board. 

“The team headed by Gemma, an entrepreneur with exceptional leadership skills, are well placed to drive the business to achieve our aggressive growth targets over the next five years.”

Dickson started her career at ERAC, before joining Herd in 2017. In her role as group sales director, she has been instrumental in growth of the Herd B2B fleet of more than 600% in the past seven years.

Schroder said: “I am really looking forward to seeing and supporting the operational board over the coming years and seeing what they will achieve. Gemma, Ant, Mike, and Danielle make an exceptionally strong team and are well set to smash through all targets across our Herd Synergy range.”
