KGM has officially launched the Torres, a new compact SUV that's on sale now.
Priced from £34,955, the new model represents a fresh styling direction for the brand formerly known as Ssangyong.
Initially offered with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the Torres will shortly be available with an electric powertrain.
The Torres is available in two trim levels: the entry-level K30 and the high-spec K40. An all-wheel-drive version will be be launched in the UK this summer, following the launch of the pure-electric Torres EVX in April.
Entry-level models are equipped with LED headlights, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats, electric folding door mirrors, lane keep assist, blind spot monitor and reversing camera,
The K40 (£37,995) comes with adaptive cruise control, a powered tailgate, electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, sat-nav and a wireless phone charger.
The 1.5-litre powertrain develops 163PS and has CO2 emissions from 194g/km. Fuel consumption, according to WLTP, is 33.2mpg.
KGM is yet to confirm the pricing and specification of the Torres EVX but has said that it will offer a range of 287 miles and have a power output of 207PS.
