Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s charitable foundation has donated £13,500 to national disability charity Motability.
The money will be used to support Motability customers in communities close to Enterprise’s offices around the UK, including Hounslow, Redditch, Nottingham, Cardiff, Winchester, Newmarket, Leeds and Stirling.
Mike Nigro, managing director, UK and Ireland at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, said: “We are delighted once again to lend our support to Motability through our Enterprise Holdings Foundation.
“Supporting the local communities in which we operate is an integral part of our philosophy and we are very proud to demonstrate this through our support of Motability and the tremendous work it carries out, supporting people with disabilities across the country.”
Lucy Lomas, corporate, trusts and legacies manager for Motability, said: “We are extremely grateful to Enterprise Rent-a-Car for its continual support of Motability. This contribution will be used to support disabled people in the UK who cannot afford the right car or adaptations for their needs, or to help young disabled people with driving lessons.”
Motability’s charitable work relies on voluntary income and aims to raise around £2.8 million each year. This income is raised through charitable trust and foundation donations, corporate support, individual fundraising and from trading activity.
