Exhibitors and manufacturers in the fleet management community eagerly await next week’s Fleet Management LIVE, according to the networking platform LinkedIn.
The industry has been speaking out on social media in the run up to one of Fleet News’ most anticipated events of the year, Fleet Management LIVE at Birmingham’s NEC on 3-4 October.
Exhibitors, supporters and manufacturers have been posting on professional networking platform, LinkedIn, calling for other members of the industry to join them.
All Fleet Services was proud to show its sponsorship of the newly-launched Intelligent Technology Zone, an area of the event that will bring the future into the present, as fleets review and test hi-tech equipment.
Claims management provider Atticus Innovation said: “Come and have a chat with us and see what we are all about. We will be located in the Intelligent Fleet Technology Zone – stand J10.”
Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) announced its support for the event earlier in the year, has been driving up interest in the Midlands-based event.
Katrina Cooke, director of marketing and communications at GBCC said on LinkedIn: “Really pleased to be working with Bauer Media again this year supporting Fleet Management LIVE.”
Manufacturers are also feeling the buzz, as representatives from both Honda and Volkswagen invited fleet managers to their stands.
Honda Motor Europe’s national fleet sales manager, Dave Bolwell said: “If any of my connections attending FML and would like to catch up and see what Honda are planning for the future, please let me know.”
Volkswagen Financial Services’ corporate sales manager, Stuart Adam revealed a small clue as to what will be on its stand (B4): “This year’s event will ‘putt’ you the test (no further secrets revealed).”
Last year’s sell-out event at Milton Keynes saw 70% of visitors attend to find out about new products and services and one-third of attendees had board level responsibility.
A staggering 96% of attendees of last year’s event said they would return this year, and the turnout for 2017 is anticipated to be over 1,500.
The event will offer a vital opportunity for industry suppliers to meet and influence fleet operators during their critical planning phase for 2018.
Chris Lester, event director, said: “Fleet Management Live has been designed by the industry, for the industry.
"Managers from every area of the market visit to assess, evaluate and learn, in areas from fleet management to finance, HR to procurement.
"Our growth reflects the interest shown by fleet operators who attend this event and benefit enormously from what it has to offer.”
