Eurovia UK is celebrating its Order of Distinction and Gold Fleet Safety Award from RoSPA for its health and safety practices.

The Order of Distinction is in recognition of 16 consecutive golds. The awards will be presented during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole on July 4.

The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Eurovia UK’s group health, safety and environmental director Dave Campbell said:  “Health and safety is always ongoing and we are continually looking for new and improved ways to ensure our staff remain safe and vigilant.

“I am extremely proud that Eurovia UK is to be awarded an Order of Distinction, which is recognition of the continued hard work of those who make sure Eurovia UK is a safer place to work as each day goes by, and that our employees can go home safely at the end of the day.”

RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events Julia Small said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
