The graphics team at commercial vehicle bodybuilder Bevan Group pulled out all the stops to complete work on an eye-catching truck for Wychwood Brewery.
Bevan’s graphics manager Mike Butterly and his colleague Lee White printed the Hobgoblin-branded vinyls over a weekend then worked long into the night the following Monday to apply them.
Their efforts paid off as the all-terrain Mercedes-Benz Unimog, which tows a beer can-shaped bar trailer, was completed and delivered in time to the parent company’s annual sales conference, staged at Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium.
Dubbed the ‘HobMog’, the truck was chosen primarily for its unusual appearance.
Joanne Wyke, senior brand manager for the legendary Hobgoblin beer, said: “Delays by another supplier meant that Bevan were right up against it so we’re really grateful that they managed to turn the vehicle around in time for us to present it at our conference.
“The ‘HobMog’ looks fantastic and will now play a key role in helping us to raise the profile of our brand at music and food festivals, and other events, all over the country.”
