CitySprint courier Mozhghan Khalifah has received an award recognising her role in maintaining the supply of drinking water in one of the UK’s worst hit areas during December’s devastating floods.  

Khalifah delivered a vital part from components distributor RS Components to a remote flood-hit water treatment centre, despite road closures, blockages and adverse weather.

Travelling from RS Nuneaton to Keswick, she went above and beyond to ensure the replacement part was safely delivered and the community’s supply of drinking water protected.

Andy Parry, CitySprint service centre manager for Warwick, awarded Khalifah for her considerable efforts.
