Fiat Professional has made a number of key appointments and undergone major restructuring and expansion of its sales team as it targets growth in the LCV sector.
The changes follow the appointment of Alejandro Noriega as Fiat Professional’s new country manager in July 2016, and have been made in line with the brand’s aspirations for significant growth.
Reporting directly to Noriega will be Richard Chamberlain, who has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of sales.
Chamberlain, who has more than two decades of experience in the automotive sector, joins from Volvo Group where he most recently served as LCV manager for Renault Trucks.
He will oversee changes designed to improve all aspects of the sales operation and deliver industry-leading standards of customer service and support.
Chamberlain said: “The LCV market in the UK is bigger than it’s ever been and the opportunities that come with that are enormous.
“No brand is better placed than Fiat Professional to capitalise on those opportunities as we now have one of the broadest, most competitive and compelling LCV line-ups in the marketplace.
“Last year saw the introduction of two new products, the midsize Talento van and Fullback as Fiat Professional’s first pickup. We will have a laser focus on meeting the needs of our customers moving forward.”
In addition, a new LCV focused SME sales team has been appointed to support Fiat Professional’s nationwide network of 77 specialist commercial vehicle dealers.
Among the changes, Kate Barrett moves from her role as Alfa Romeo brand communications manager to become Fiat Professional’s dedicated brand communications manager with responsibility for all national and local communications across the Fiat Professional brand.
