Bridgestone has extended a fleet agreement with Arla Foods to 2020, taking the relationship into a 10th consecutive year.
The 13,500-strong dairy farmer cooperative will continue to use Bridgestone’s tyre range and Total Tyre Care offering.
Bridgestone’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) and tailored package of support were both cited as major factors in the extension, with call-out times being reduced by up to 30% as a direct result.
Richard Wilson, inbound logistics director at Arla, said: “We have been really impressed with Bridgestone on a number of levels for some time now, so the decision to extend our agreement was an easy one for us to make.”
Supported by real-time monitoring and analysis of fleet performance, Bridgestone supplies Arla with a mix of new and retread tyres through its Bridgestone Partner network combined with the specialist Bandag retread network.
Arla’s maintenance teams are also supported by Bridgestone’s fleet managers who offer specialist advice and consultation.
The company's dairy products are delivered across the length and breadth of the country to its portfolio of brands including Lurpak and Anchor.
