Isuzu has committed to support its customers, key workers and the country’s essential services during the Coronavirus crisis.
The manufacturer has pledged to continue offering repair and maintenance services via its UK dealer network for D-Max owners.
It will also continue to supply vehicles to those that require them.
Fleet and demonstrator vehicles are being loaned, free of charge, to businesses and services that need to get food and medicine to people who are most in need and are hardest to reach.
The company said it will also repair any make of pick-up or van for customers whose normal garage is closed.
William Brown, managing director of Isuzu UK, has written to customers saying: “We do not take our responsibility lightly and we are committed to doing our bit, however small. Clearly, we must adhere to government guidelines and prioritise above all else the safety of our staff, so do bear with us if there are delays in getting back to you.”
Many Isuzu customers form part of the ‘key worker’ group including Farmers who produce food, Utility companies that deliver power and water and Telecommunications companies that keep us connected.
On a local community level, the brand said there are thousands of tradespeople, like plumbers, electricians and builders that need to stay mobile.
