Licence Bureau has launched its new Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) remote training programme.
The programme will be split into three areas: Modular 3.5-hour Driver CPC, 7hr Driver CPC and FORS Professional CPC courses.
All nine courses will be delivered via virtual classrooms online and are designed to help reduce road risks for fleet operators by developing drivers’ knowledge, competence, skills and performance.
Steve Pinchen, sales director at Licence Bureau, said: “It’s another great addition to our compliance portfolio and sees us continue to innovate our offering to meet the changing requirements of modern-day business.
“We know the world of driver compliance has and continues to evolve in line with business practices, and our aim is to ensure improved road safety remains a top priority and is accessible to all.”
The 3.5hr modules cover driver safety awareness; driver hours; driver distractions; driver health and wellbeing; safe loading and load security; and speed awareness.
The 7hr courses cover: driver safety awareness; traffic laws and daily checks; driver hours; driver impairment/drink and drugs; and driver first aid.
Accredited as part of the Fleet Operators Recognition Scheme (FORS), Licence Bureau’s FORS Professional Course offering includes safe urban driving; van smart; and LoCITY Driving courses as part of its FORS Professional Driver CPC portfolio.
The FORS Professional Driver CPC Courses all currently require some form of physical delivery and are available across the UK.
