Liquid Fleet has delivered more than 100 electric vehicles (EVs) on 12-month plus corporate rentals in the first six weeks of 2025.

The company says that all the vehicles had a range of more than 250 miles, with fleets looking to onboard EVs that are also on price parity or that are cheaper than equivalent internal combustion engine (ICE) cars.

Liquid Fleet’s latest batch of Kia EV3s boast a range of up to 375 miles and are priced at between £350-£400 per month plus VAT, which it says sits in that current sweet spot for companies looking to reduce their fleet emissions.

“We are supplying a diverse range of customers with EVs from those that are providing cars for new employees to subscription companies and pool car fleets,” explained Martin Potter, Liquid Fleet’s commercial director.

“The sentiment is becoming very positive towards EVs if the range and price are right which is where new cars like the Kia EV3. This has helped shape our buying policy and the brands we work with as we cater for customers that want to get their drivers into an EV, some for the first time.”

Liquid Fleet continues to onboard EVs onto its 2,000-strong rental fleet and like many suppliers are being asked to take zero emission cars from the OEMs alongside petrol and hybrid cars.

“The market is still very sensitive, and we will work with the OEMs that provide longer range EVs at the right price as we know they are in demand,” Potter explained.

“Longer term rental has a part to play in helping OEMs achieve their future Zero Mandate targets whilst helping educate companies and drivers about EVs.”
