Volkswagen has announced a raft of trim upgrades across the brand’s core models, with new versions of Polo, Golf, and Passat saloon and estate.

The Polo Match replaces the SE trim and now includes cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, front fog lights with static cornering function, tinted rear windows and new 15-inch Stratford alloy wheels as standard-fit features.

Boosting the appeal of the Passat saloon and Passat estate is the debut of a revised SE Business trim level which the manufacturer says adds more style and value.

The SE Business designation – which is enhanced at the same time as the SE spec is removed from the range – offers Discover Navigation, front fog lights, electric folding door mirrors and tinted rear windows as standard.

The forthcoming Golf GT Edition meanwhile, replaces the GT trim level, and gains additional equipment including 18-inch Durban alloy wheels, and panoramic sunroof.

The new Golf R-Line Edition replaces the R-Line trim adding larger 18-inch Serron alloys wheels and a panoramic sunroof.  The Golf R-Line Edition and the new GT Edition are expected to arrive in Volkswagen showrooms in early 2016.
