Škoda has revised its smallest model, the Citigo, with a new front end and updated technology.
Available in three or five door configuration, the supermini can now be specified with LED daytime running lights, cornering fog lights and City Safe Drive with light and rain sensors.
Prices start at £8,635 and the UK line up consists of S, SE, Colour Edition, SE L and Monte Carlo.
The revised front section includes a new bonnet, a modified bumper, revamped fog lights and a redesigned radiator grille.
At the rear, dark-tinted tail lights feature on SE trim and above.
Inside, the instrument cluster has been re-designed and is available in two different versions. The standard three-spoke steering wheel is now available as a multifunction steering wheel with leather cover (standard for SE L). Its buttons allow control of the radio and paired phone without the driver having to remove their hands from the steering wheel.
The Citigo is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine, available with 60PS or 75PS. The entry-level engine allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 14.4 seconds and return 64mpg with 101g/km of CO2.
Opting for the GreenTech version adds start-stop and brake energy recovery. It reduces emissions to 96g/km.
The more powerful engine returns the same emissions and economy figures but can reach 60MPH a second faster.
Citigo S models feature Isofix child seat fittings on the rear seats, ticket holder on the windscreen and a Blues radio system with SD card slot, USB port, two speakers and aux-in and CD player functions.
SE benefits from 14-inch alloy wheels, chrome radiator grille surround, air-conditioning, height-adjustable driver’s seat and Swing Radio with colour display and six speakers.
Flagship SE L models gain 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome interior door handles, leather gearshift handle and handbrake lever, rear parking sensors, heated front seats and electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors.
Meanwhile those looking for a sportier feel from their Citigo can order a Monte Carlo edition, based on the SE but adding black wheels, 15mm lower suspension, sports seats and upholstery, red centre console, leather multifunction sports steering wheel and special Monte Carlo styling and badging.
