Future Jaguar Land Rover customers could buy into a car share club, giving them access to the autonomous vehicles of their choice on demand.
The initiative is based on an intelligent and connected steering wheel which will be unveiled as the brand’s inaugural Tech Fest at Central St Martins art, design and technology college in London, UK on September 7.
Called Sayer, this steering wheel concept lives in your home and could be the only part of the car you own. It is the first voice-activated artificial intelligence (AI) steering wheel that will be able to carry out hundreds of tasks.
Users can tell Sayer from the comfort of their home when they need to travel and it will work out when a car needs to autonomously arrive at their door and even advise which parts of the journey they might enjoy driving yourself.

A tick box for "Mobility" - I can't imagine many Land Rover drivers wanting to share their status symbol..... and that's before you've stuck the kids in the back to make a mess!
