Honda UK has strengthened its corporate team by appointing Dave Bolwell as national fleet sales manager, and Ben Morris and Dave Lythgoe taking account manager roles.

Bolwell joins from Listers Group, where he was group fleet sales manager and prior to that he was at Toyota for 10 years in key sales and account management roles.

He said: “I’m delighted to join Honda and get stuck into the role of national fleet sales manager.

“I’m overseeing all of our major corporate sales and will be liaising with dealerships that are running the Honda Platinum Programme for our business customers. Ensuring we deliver the very best service for customers is my top priority.”

Before his role at Honda UK, Morris was responsible for fleet and used car activity at MG and Lythgoe spent time at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as large corporate fleet manager.

Marc Samuel, fleet sales operations manager at Honda UK, said: “Our three new appointments are absolutely key for ensuring Honda can deliver a market-leading service to its corporate customers.

“Our Platinum Programme is central to our offering, and we are on the cusp of announcing some exciting updates to enhance the fleet experience for drivers. This wouldn’t be possible without the talent and dedication from our team.”

The new appointments aim to ensure Honda can best service its corporate customers across the UK.

The Honda Platinum Programme is a bespoke service offering advanced training for all dealer principals, sales managers and sales advisors, allowing them to better understand the needs and wants of their fleet and corporate customers.

A company car driver can walk into a dealership and receive face-to-face support, ranging from what vehicle is best for their mileage, through to taxation or contract terms, and take up the offer of a 48-hour test drive, said Honda.
