Volvo Car UK is returning to Fleet Live with an array of plug-in models, as well as offering fleet decision makers and company car drivers the opportunity to take advantage of expert guidance on the financial, environmental and personal benefits of driving a Volvo car.
Taking place on October 8 and 9 at the NEC in Birmingham, Volvo will be showcasing its latest Twin Engine plug-in hybrid models, including the V60 and XC60 at Fleet Live.
Both models deliver important benefits for the fleet sector, including lower emissions and greater fuel efficiency. The updated XC90 T8 Twin Engine plug-in hybrid will be present too at Fleet Live. This SUV model offers the best in contemporary style, premium quality and strong dynamic performance.
The ever-popular XC40, the first SUV to be named New Company Car of the Year in the Fleet News Awards, will also be available for fleet users to view. Fleet buyers will be able to place orders for the new T5 Twin Engine petrol-electric hybrid powertrain variant of the XC40, which is the UK’s first plug-in hybrid premium compact SUV, available for delivery in spring 2020.
The Volvo Business Sales team will be available to provide expert insight into the advantages of the Volvo range for company car drivers. Plus visitors to the stand can tap into the brand’s Swedish roots with Fika, the Scandinavian tradition of taking time out for coffee, cake and an all-important chat.
Steve Beattie, head of business sales at Volvo Car UK, said: “The future of fleet is very much determined by the advancement of alternatively fuelled vehicles and connected technology, and Volvo is leading the way with its bold electrification strategy. Our Business Sales team will be on hand at Fleet Live to offer practical advice on how organisations can integrate electrified vehicles into their fleets.
“All of our cars are designed to make life easier for business drivers, thanks to our innovative in-car technology and driving performance, not to mention the striking Scandinavian design. We can’t wait to showcase our cars at Fleet Live and look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand.”
