New Ford Kuga prices, specifications and CO2 emissions

Ford has revealed pricing and emissions data for the all-new Kuga, ahead of its arrival on UK roads early next year.

The new SUV will be offered with mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, alongside regular petrol and diesel options.

All versions will feature FordPass Connect, the brand’s connected car service, wireless smarthphone charging and a suite of advanced driver assistance and safety features.

The range starts with Zetec, which comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, a heated windscreen, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment, and front and rear parking sensors.

Titanium adds 18-inch alloys, keyless entry, LED headlights and partial leather trim.

Sporty ST Line gets different bumpers and a rear spoiler, plus sports suspension over the Titanium spec, while ST line X adds a panoramic roof, heated seats and power tailgate.

Vignale offers a more luxurious package with leather trim, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, a digital instrument cluster and head-up display.

The Ford Kuga Titanium First Edition features B&O premium audio system and driver’s assistance pack as standard including front and rear view cameras, Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Kuga First Editions will be prioritised at launch, offered in Titanium, ST-Line and ST-Line X trims, adding sporty interior and exterior design cues and sports suspension, with 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.

A new 2.5-litre 225PS plug-in hybrid emits just 26g/km of CO2 (NEDC). It utilises a 2.5-litre Atkinson petrol engine that enables it to deliver fuel economy of up to 201mpg. The PHEV can operate on electric power only for up to 35 miles thanks to its 14.4kWh battery pack.

A mild-hybrid Ecoblue diesel provides 190PS and emits 129g/km of CO2.

The 1.5 Ecoboost petrol serves up 120PS or 150PS and has emissions from 126g/km. There is also a 120PS Ecoblue diesel with emissions from 111g/km.
