Hyundai has updated the Kona Electric SUV with revised styling and new technology. It's now priced from £33,070 (P11d).
The Kona Electric continues to be offered with two battery options: the 64kWh version offers a range of up to 300 miles on a single charge, while the 39.2kWh model offers up to 189 miles.
Exterior styling changes includes new lights and bumpers front and rear, while inside it now features a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment screen as standard.
The new Kona Electric also has Hyundai’s SmartSense safety package, with upgraded features including rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.
Another feature new to this model is the leading vehicle departure alert which alerts the driver if they do not react fast enough when the vehicle ahead of them starts moving.
Three trim levels are available. The entry-level SE Connect includes Apple Car Play and Android Auto and a five-year Bluelink subscription. It also has rear parking sensors with a rear view camera, keyless entry with stop/start button and smart adaptive cruise control with stop/go function.
The Premium trim gets full LED headlamps, heated front seats, heated steering wheel and cabin ambient lighting. Blind Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA) and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCA) are also added.
A new range-topping Ultimate trim includes an electric tilt and slide sunroof, Highway Drive Assist function, head up display, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats.
