Citroen has reduced the CO2 emissions on certain versions of the C5 Aircross SUV, resulting in lower benefit-in-kind tax for company car drivers.

The PureTech 130 petrol model, with a manual gearbox, now emits up to 7g/km less than before – with a figure of 139g/km across all trim levels. This means it sits in the 31% tax bracket for the 2021-22 tax year.

Diesel variants also benefit from reduced emissions. The BlueHDI 130 with an eight-speed automatic gearbox is now up to 2g/km more efficient.

The changes are effective from March 2021 production, with P11d pricing remaining unchanged. For company car drivers, the lower CO2 emissions result in BIK savings of up to £208 per year.

Available in a choice of four trim levels, ‘Sense’, ‘Shine’, ‘C-Series’ and ‘Shine Plus’, all C5 Aircross SUV models feature LED headlights and a Citroën Safety Pack (Active Safety Brake and Active Lane Departure Warning). Also included are rear parking sensors, 18-inch alloy wheels, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
